Family: Santalaceae, Mistletoe Family

Synonomy: none

Lower Taxa: None

Habit: Parasitic herb, terrestrial, on Ericaceae

Habitat: Dry sterile sands, Statewide.

Range: Nearly Statewide, Valley and Ridge (VR) Piedmont (P) and Coastal Plain (CP-N, S)

Frequency: Common

Rank/Status: G5, S4/none

Wetland Status: FACU

Comments: A common plant of acidic woodlands throughout the state.
