The Philadelphia Botanical Club bestowed Ted Gordon the title of Hononary Member at the May 2016 monthly meeting. The honor is given to long time members such as Ted, who have provided leadership, and dedicated time and efforts to advance to Club goals. July 16th 2016 Field Trip to Clayton/Glassboro FWMA
The Glassboro/Clayton FWMA is a ~3,000 acre tract of public land that surrounds the headwaters of the Little Ease, one of the major Maurice River tributaries. Extensive red maple wetlands are punctuated with relic upland ridges that support an interesting mix of Coastal Plain species. This wet forest was used only lumbering and charcoal. 2014 Flora of New Jersey Meeting Dates
The Flora of New Jersey annouces the following dates for telephone conference calls. These calls are used to provide members and interested participants updates and news on the progress. Chrysler Herbarium is the home base of the Flora. Seasonal in herbarium work days will be posted after the re-organization meeting.
