Joe is the Project's Chairperson and responsible for all of the non-profit corporation's business and outreach. Joe is a native of South Jersey with an interest in the Coastal Plain Flora and its distribution. Wayne is the Project's Treasurer and chairperson of the Manual Committee. Wayne possesses many talents and a botanical knowledge of the Flora that spans North American. Stevens Heckscher, PhD
Dr. Stevens Heckscher is a founding member of FNJP and is a memeber of FNJP's executive board. Dr. Heckscher received his doctorate in mathematics from Harvard University and describes himself as a hybrid between a mathematician and an ecologist. He specializes in classification and description of plant communities using powerful computer tools, and is currently working on research projects in New Jersey and the Florida Keys. William Olson
Bill is the Project's Recording Secretary as well as our nomenclature committee chairperson. He also sits on the manual and IT committees. Bill is a major Project contributor. Bill is currently providing the effort for many large genera in the Asteraceae, the family Violaceae and genera (Scleria and Eleocharis) in Cyperaceae.
