Biologists and Ecologists Urge Senators to Support Natural Resource Collections

AIBS, ESA Write to Senators about Importance of Collections in Preserving Plant Genetic Resources

The American Institute of Biological Sciences and the Ecological Society of America have written an open letter to US Senators describing the importance collections are to the foundtions of other sciences and specifically in preserving plant genetics.  Herbaria are the resource for this preservation.  To read various articles on this topic go to AIBS monthly newsletter or the AIBS/ESA Letter.
