Welcome to the Flora of New Jersey’s new web site, something we call Version 2.0. We changed the look using different software, resulting in a site we hope will satisfy your New Jersey plant needs. Staff and domain changes prompted our shift that resulted in a leaner and blog friendly format. We intend to post our plant research as we go, providing interim stages from approved nomenclature to Atlas posts and eventually descriptive keys and other important data.
The Project is a volunteer effort and the taxa being studied at any one time will span the known flora, so the postings will be random, slowly filling the gaps in our modern understanding of New Jersey’s wild plants.
